I’M A LOCAL AND INDEPENDENT

Thank you for your support in helping me to continue to put North Adelaide first. I want to continue to be your strong voice for North Adelaide over the 2022 -2026 term on the Adelaide City Council, as North Ward Councillor.

I’m a North Adelaide local. I have lived in and been part of the community for over 30 years. My kids attended Tynte Street Primary and I owned a book shop on O’Connell Street for 20 years.

I am a local resident, unlike most of the elected members of your Council.

Over many years working as a Senior Media Executive for the ABC and SBS, a business owner, Chair of a local Co-op Board for many years and currently your representative on Adelaide City Council, I have accrued valuable skills to achieve the best outcomes possible for our community. I know how to make a difference.

Most importantly, I am independent of all political parties and all of Council factions. I have never been a member of the dominant Team Adelaide faction of City Council which I think has made our Council so dysfunctional. I give you my word that I will never join any faction. My first and only priority is to represent you as a strong voice for North Adelaide in the coming years..
